Kindle Report – Mack Reynolds

I finished the section in my big Kindle book by Mack Reynolds.  I had read a few of them before, but some were new.

There was one amusing story about a detective hired to find time travelers. His client thinks the Oktoberfest would be a good place, because they wouldn’t stand out.  It works too well – the story ends with the poor detective back in his office minutes after he left – he had found one, partied with him, been detected and memory erased and dumped back at his starting point three times running. His souvenir was the hangover from repeating the same party three times in a row.

The stories in this collection were good, but dated. Most of them reflected the cold war, us versus Soviet world a little too much to be considered timeless.
